Kelli joined our practice in 2007, joining Sarah at the front desk. Kelli also brings dental assisting experience from her previous office. She and her husband Judd have one daughter Katie who attends Georgia Southern University. In her free time, she enjoys traveling and riding bikes.
Sarah Milliner
Front Office Staff
Sarah joined our practice in 1988 as a dental assistant. She graduated the following year from the dental assisting program at Lanier Technical College. After many years assisting, she moved to the front desk. Sarah and her husband have one daughter who is married to Joe and living in Texas. In her free time, she enjoys visiting Katie and Joe and spending time with friends and family.
Tara Avera
Dental Hygienist
Tara joined our staff in 2014 after she and her family moved to the area from Marietta. Tara grew up in Monticello and attended Clayton State College where she earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She spends time out of the office with her husband Matt and two boys, Carter and Hayes. When she is not at the ballfield, you can find her browsing an antique store, cooking for her family and decorating something.
Kimberly Davis
Dental Hygienist
Kimberly joined our practice in 2016 as a dental hygienist. Kimberly is a graduate of Georgia Perimeter College where she graduated with highest honors in 2004. She and her husband Matt have 3 boys, Grant, Levi and Wyatt. In her free time, she enjoys attending church, traveling and spending time with her family.
Catherine Setzer
Dental Hygienist
Catherine is a part time registered hygienist who joined our practice in June 2014. She grew up in Athens and is a graduate from Athens Technical College. She and her husband Jake have two daughters and two sons. Outside of the office, Catherine enjoys watching her kids play sports, singing, interior design, investing in real estate and property management.
Mandy Pittman
Dental Assistant
Mandy joined Athens Dental Group in 2006. Mandy’s main goal is to make all treatment comfortable for each patient. Mandy enjoys raising her son, Wyatt. She also likes to camp and spend time with her family.
Andrea Pierce
Dental Assistant
Andrea is a graduate of Athens Technical College Assisting Program. She strives to help patients feel comfortable while in the dental chair and form lasting relationships with our patients. She and her husband, Clay, reside in Bethlehem. Andrea enjoys being outdoors, shopping and spending time with her family and dogs.
Hannah Allen
Dental Hygienist
Hannah joined our practice in June of 2023 and is a full-time hygienist. She grew up in Danielsville, GA. She graduated from Athens Technical College dental hygiene program and dental assisting program. Hannah loves educating and creating long-lasting relationships with her patients. In her spare time she enjoys going to the lake with her boyfriend and their two dogs, a golden doodle, Fern and German wirehaired pointer, Gus.
Desiree Patrick
Dental Assistant
Desiree joined our team in 2023 as a dental assistant with a background in the dental/healthcare field. She is great at making patients feel at ease by building trust, confidence, and friendships with each patient. When she’s not in the office, she enjoys cooking/baking for her family and friends. She’s also an avid reader of anything biblical.
